1. Brandon

a. The style of writing that Brandon wrote his paper in is a short story.

Something that really worked for him in his paper was how he showed what he was thinking in moments and the descriptive language used. The use of his thoughts really helped as is allowed him to avoid using phrases like "in my head" and went straight to the point. The language used to describe his surroundings when he got to Mexico really made me feel that I was there on the beach. Something that I think I will try to use in my paper will be the use of what the thoughts were going in my mind. Also, I'll think about using some dialogue.

b. I honestly did not have anything to critique, not saying it was perfect but there weren't obvious flaws that I could find.

2. Arija

a. The style of writing that she used was vignette. What worked best for her was the use of style because it allowed her to work through three similar yet different times that she had spent at the camp. What didn't really work was how she talked about "Krissy" a bit without explaining her, in my opinion. I haven't really decided on a certain style so maybe I'll think about using a vignette.
